An in-person workshop for men and women

Connection isn’t only understood. It is felt.

An experiential workshop exploring the energetics of connection, communication and masculine–feminine polarity.

A different way of meeting

Most of us were never taught how to stay connected to our bodies while meeting another person.

We may want deeper intimacy, honest communication and greater attraction. Yet when we begin to feel truly met by another person, the body can tense, close down or pull away.

This workshop is an opportunity to bring awareness to the patterns that close us off from connection—not to fix or change ourselves, but to meet these patterns with love and presence. So when old wounds are activated in life or relationships, we’re better able to respond with choice rather than react from fear.

Rather than simply talking about masculinity and femininity, this workshop invites you to experience the relationship between these energies—and how each affects the other.

“This is not a lecture. It is an opportunity to experience connection directly—to feel it in the body.”

Masculine practice

Grounded enough to hold.
Clear enough to lead.
Open enough to love.

Many men lose connection to themselves around women. You may become focused on saying the right thing, managing her experience or avoiding upsetting her. But the more attention you place on controlling her response, the less she can feel your presence.

Within the masculine practice, you’ll be invited to explore:

  • Becoming more grounded in your body
  • Remaining connected to yourself while meeting her energy
  • Holding space without fixing, controlling or rescuing
  • Leading with clarity, sensitivity and awareness
  • Communicating honestly without abandoning yourself
  • Staying present when emotion or intensity arises

You won’t be asked to become harder, louder or more dominant. You’ll explore a masculinity that comes from being fully present in your body.

Feminine practice

Attuned enough to feel.
Connected enough to honour your intuition.

Your body is always responding to the man in front of you. It may soften and open, tense and protect, or sense that something isn’t right before your mind can explain why. This practice is about deepening your relationship with your body’s signals—learning to distinguish intuitive knowing from conditioned patterns, and to choose self-love and authenticity rather than abandoning yourself to maintain connection with another.

Within the feminine practice, you’ll be invited to explore:

  • Deepening your connection to your body and feminine energy
  • Noticing how your body responds to different qualities of masculine presence
  • Recognising what allows genuine trust and openness to arise
  • Honouring contraction, hesitation and the impulse to say no
  • Receiving grounded masculine presence while remaining connected to your boundaries and truth
  • Sharing what is true without shaping yourself around another’s expectations.

You won’t be told how a woman should behave or asked to become passive. You’ll explore a femininity that is embodied, expressive and true for you.

Beyond our differences

Polarity doesn’t need to become a battle.

The differences between masculine and feminine energy can create attraction, tension and misunderstanding. This workshop is an opportunity to honour those differences while recognising the shared humanity beneath them—and to bring more presence, understanding and love into the space between men and women.

About Dan

Hi, I’m Dan, a teacher, coach and workshop facilitator specialising in embodiment, somatic healing and the nervous system.

I’ve supported more than 100 people through private one-to-one sessions and group work. I’m also a qualified trauma-informed breathwork facilitator, having completed a 150-hour training, alongside many hours of training in embodiment and personal development.

I created this workshop from a deep fascination with the body, energetics, masculine–feminine polarity and spirituality. My intention is to create a space where men and women can recognise and celebrate their differences, meet the wounds that can keep us apart, and discover what becomes possible when we relate with greater presence, understanding and love.

Choose how you want to practise.

Places will be balanced between masculine and feminine practice tickets. You’ll have opportunities to explore both energies within yourself, while keeping one as your primary focus. Spaces in each group are limited.

Questions & answers

Before you join us.

Everything you may want to know about the afternoon.

Do I need any previous experience with embodiment or masculine–feminine work?

No previous experience is necessary. However, this work can sometimes bring unexpected emotions or relational patterns to the surface. The workshop is best suited to people who already have some capacity for self-reflection and feel able to seek appropriate support if something significant arises.

Can I attend with a partner?

You’re welcome to attend alongside a partner, but tickets are booked individually and you’ll both be invited to engage with other members of the group. This workshop isn’t currently structured as couples’ work, although dedicated opportunities for couples may be offered in the future.

Will there be any physical touch?

Some practices may include optional, non-sexual contact, such as holding hands or sharing a hug. This is not a tantra workshop: everyone will remain fully clothed, and there will be no sexual touch. All contact is consent-led, never expected and always your choice.

Will the workshop include references to sex or sexuality?

Possibly. Sexuality is not the focus of the workshop, but it can be a meaningful part of masculine–feminine polarity, attraction and intimate relationships. I may reference it when relevant.

What if I feel uncomfortable or don’t want to participate in a practice?

Every practice is an invitation. You’re welcome to pause, observe or step out of any exercise at any time, without needing to explain or justify your decision. Your boundaries and your pace will be respected throughout the afternoon.

Is this a dating workshop?

No. Although you may naturally meet people you connect with, the workshop is not designed as a dating event or tantra experience. You’ll be encouraged to attend for yourself rather than with the intention of finding a partner. My hope is that the experience supports you to approach connection and future relationships from a more grounded and authentic place.

How do I choose between a masculine and feminine practice ticket?

The workshop is primarily designed for men to practise with masculine energy and women to practise with feminine energy. However, both energies exist within all of us, and there will be opportunities to explore each during the afternoon. If practising with the other energy feels more relevant to you, you’re welcome to choose that ticket. You may find it helpful to consider which practice brings up the most curiosity, tension or uncertainty—or contact me before booking if you’re unsure.

Is the workshop suitable if I’m currently in a relationship?

You’re welcome to attend whether you’re single or in a relationship. It’s your responsibility to consider your relationship agreements and decide whether the practices feel aligned with your personal boundaries and those you share with your partner.

Is the workshop suitable for people of different sexual orientations?

This particular workshop explores masculine–feminine polarity primarily within the context of relating and attraction between men and women. People of any sexual orientation are welcome if this framework feels relevant to what they want to explore. If you’re uncertain whether the workshop is right for you, please contact me before booking.

What is the workshop’s approach to gender and masculine–feminine polarity?

This workshop does not present a universal definition of how men or women should be. It does, however, come from my belief that masculine and feminine dynamics—and the differences between men and women—are real, meaningful and worthy of exploration. For simplicity, I will often use ‘man’ or ‘he’ when discussing the masculine and ‘woman’ or ‘she’ when discussing the feminine. No offence is intended by this language. This is a space to explore and celebrate our differences while recognising the shared humanity beneath them. It is an experiential workshop, not a political debate. You don’t need to agree with every idea, but you do need to be open to this framework and engage with it respectfully. If these themes feel fundamentally opposed to your values, this workshop is unlikely to be the right fit for you.

How will the space be held?

My role is not to fix or change anyone, but to welcome you as you are and hold the workshop with as much grounding, care and presence as I can. Clear boundaries and consent will be encouraged throughout, allowing you to notice whatever the practices reveal while remaining responsible for your own choices, wellbeing and healing journey.

What should I wear and bring?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Please bring a water bottle and anything else that helps you feel comfortable while sitting or moving.

How many people will be attending?

The workshop is currently capped at 10 participants. If further places are released, the total number attending will not exceed 14.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Refunds are available up to 14 days before the event. No refunds can be offered within 14 days of the event. If you need to cancel your place or request a refund, please email info@danbenoy.com.

You’re welcome to contact me directly.
